Surprised he didn't go back to Rangers. He could have helped them back up a couple of divisions.

I read earlier that Fleetwood were the only team willing to pay his £15,000 a week wage for the duration of the loan. Seems their chairman wanted a 'marquee' signing. If true, madness. Would get you three exceptional League One players.

That is on par with Ipswich paying £18,000 per week for Jimmy Bullard,

Hardly, Ipswich are a big club in the championship and Bullard was a terrific player. Fleetwood are a tiny club in league 2 and Ferguson is past it.

My point was Bullard had serious injury problems when he signed,

He only played a few games and hardly ever trained,

If he was fit I would agree with you,

BUT

He was never fit and proved to be a waste of time.

They can't be paying his full wages, surely that would put it over their salary cap, they get smaller gates than crawley and even they had to cut their wage bill
