Shaun was booked against Mansfield, Wrexham & Stockport before his booking on Saturday against Macclesfield. OS say he is banned after reaching 5 bookings. Can anyone tell me who else he was booked against as the OS stats only show the four above?

Was it in the cup?

I can also only find 4, both on the BBC website and soccerbase.

Nope not in the cup as he did not play in the 2-4 loss to Kidderminister.

Do yellow cards roll over from season to season?

Red Cards carry over from one season to another but yellow cards don't.

This is confusing.

So he got a yellow in the following games:

Stockport - Home
Wrexham - Away
Mansfield - Home
Macclesfield - Home

That's 4, were is the other one?

Of course it matters, if a player is getting banned for 5 bookings when he only has 4...???

What a stupid post, must be the school holidays.

It certainly must!

The club, the FA and the player have got it wrong and Brigg Tosser is right.

What a loon

So can you answer the question of were the other booking has come from?

Stockport - Home
Wrexham - Away
Mansfield - Home
Macclesfield - Home

That's 4, were is the other one?

Well going through the results I can only see 4, the FA Cup game isn't included though.

Pearson didn't play in the FA Cup game. It was Pond and Miller at the back I think.

Do bookings in reserve games count. Maybe he was booked in a reserve match this season?

I think if you are booked in reserve games, it only counts for reserve games eg
5 yellows in reserve games = 1 match ban from reserve games but you are ok to play first team football.

However, I remember Ademeno being sent off in a reserve game but GTFC thinking that he would be banned from first team games. Perhaps it counts for first team games if the red was for violent conduct.

I think we've only played 2 reserve games and don't think Pearson played in either. Who knows?

I remember the nuneaton game at home and Shaun pulled the player down, and that ludricous ref we had seemed to reach into his pocket to book him and have no idea whether he did or not!

I'm sure its been saying Shaun's been on 4 yellow cards for a while now...

At least 2 of these bookings have come from his constant backchat to the ref, oh how he'll be regretting it now, ridiculous.

that was against Forest Green at home, the ref pulled his book out but nobody actually saw whether he showed the yellow card or not. I would guess he was booked in that match its just not been recorded anywhere by the press association but it was in the ref's report.

Hasn't S.Pearson just come back from suspention? Pretty sure he had 2 games ban and Miller played. Was it Pearson or someone else that was suspended because of bookings? Memory's crap.

That was an injury or illness, wasn't a suspension

Think he was booked against Forest Green on 8th September. There was a lot of confusion at the time as the ref didn't show the yellow card but he appeared to be booked. We discussed it on here but even Pearson didn't know if he had been booked or not.

Defenders will get more bookings as the game has become near enough a non contact sport.

Vinnie Jones, Roy Keane, Steve McMahon (sp?) and others would not survive full 90 minute games if they played now!

Just on this subject of yellow cards noticed Aswad Thomas is on 4.
Hope we've got a backup plan should the worst happen.

Yeah, we can switch Bradley Wood to left-back and bring in Sam Hatton.
