I'm not hopeful. He was awful last season, had a decent preseason but has looked just as bad as last year on the admittedly rare occasions he has played.

Maybe I'm being harsh on the lad, perhaps it's a case of him not fitting into our system of play?

Louis is a skillfull player just not sure what his best position is. The gaffers brought him in with a position in mind but I am not sure how they planned to use him. I wish him all the best in his loan period and he clearly wants to do well for Town so lets see how things pan out.

He scored a lot of goals last season in a struggling team.  On paper a good buy for us.  However, we play on grass.  For whatever reason(s) though he has not fitted in and performed well at Grimsby.  He may come back rejuvenated.  I do not expect it though.  He may have to move on in the future.  (Hatton might end up in the same category).

Tbf to the las he's barely had a look in this season. He's clearly got ability, maybe just needs a confidence boost. Hopefully he'll get that at 'fleet.
