Id still like to see Pond in midfield. He looks so composed and steady in the ball. He would be fantastic as a holding player.

For anyone who didn't have Humberside on pre-match, they said his missus was in and out of hospital before the baby (which is theír first - hence he hasn't wanted to miss it) was born. And that there some slight complications since the birth but now the new-born appears in good health. Miller himself said his mind wasn't in the right place and it wouldve been wrong for him to be playing as he wouldn't have done himself justice on the pitch.

He will be back I am sure. Very good player.

Exactly was just gonna say the same.
In that situation, there's honestly no point in rushing these things.

Like you say he's too good a player to be kept down for too long.
Good managment from S&H IMO - no point taking risks changing it just for the sake of it...
