Have to say i agree with moosey. It's not being negative. You can't rest on your laurels. It could have prevented us conceding a goal near the end with a few fresher players on getting to the ball first.

I'd have brought on Thanoj for Disley, and Soares for G.Pearson as well as the Elding change.

Should have brought some of the subs on and earlier today.
Elding with 5 mins to go is a nothing substitution, after about 70 Cook and Pearson were looking laggy, a freshened up front line could have sneaked a couple more and it would have been the perfect game to let Soares have a run up top to exploit the spaces.

The team however showed what they are capable of today so that now becomes the benchmark, pity less than 3000 home fans saw it.

AFTER A PEA POOR start to the season (according to most posters on this topic) i think Moosey was 100% right with his comment, we should have changed things at 4v0 mentality is part of confidence and players not starting would have mentally felt fitter and more confident coming on at 4 nil up, this would have pushed more confidence it the whole squad rather than just the starting 11 and giving the fans the chance to really see what these players are able to do ...... Its only 6 games in and this was a perfect chance wasted by our chuckle brothers ... lets hope next time we in this situation they will give the fringe players a chance while the pressure is off

UTM onwards and upwards

Difference of opinion but either way it isn't THAT important.

Given the start and the chopping and changing that has taken place I'd suggest it was vital for those who were on the bench (having been given chances and failed to take them) like Hatton, Soares and Elding that they may have to wait to get a chance again given the outstanding contribution of those who started.
