Horse called 'Excellent Mariner' goes today at Newcastle in the 3.25, trained by Mark Johnson. On paper has a great chance (where have we heard that before?!). Judge it for yourself. Around 7/2 and may actually be favourite now.

It's not that price for nothing mate. The name means f***-all to 95% of people who back it. The name is  just an interesting quirk of fate.
