don't be stupid. that is a non starter, although I have to admit he is unlikely to let one of his sides play like that.

You give Buckley a squad include Hearn,Elding,Disley,Thanoj,Sothwell,Thomas,Miller and Pearson he will give you a footballing side that will urine allover teams like Nuneaton and that`s a FACT.

Agree that we have a decent squad, but the tactics are dreadful. 2 more games to show improvement, otherwise I will be backing the 4th coming.

i dont think it helped in pre season playing 4-3-3 the players needed to play 4-4-2 together in pre season to gel as a team, fact is H&S dont no there best team this is proven by there rash judgments of substitutions during the games.

I don't think I'd like to bring Mr B back as manager here.  He deserves better than what he got last time.  If he's OK doing what he's doing now, then let him be.

I assume you aren't including today in your "rash judgements" scenario. Any of the three replaced could have been taken off up to 20 minutes earlier than they were

no not directly aimed at today but the past 2 games we have replaced our 2 front players at the same time.bringing 3 subs on at once is a sign to me that the tactics/team line ups are wrong before the game has even started

Um Bongo think you need to stop living in past, drink some Um Bongo, and re-evaluate thoughts.

Evident on Tuesday after about 15 mins that our 2 big forwards were getting nil service a quick glance at the bench told me they would both have to be sacrificed if we were to improve as nothing on the bench was going to provide a cross either. All decent longball sides have wide players who can cross or extremely fast front players who can get in behind we have neither option (maybe Hearn?)

Thing is Scott has said countless times that this season is different to the last because he can look at the bench and there will be different options to bring onto the pitch were as last season it was like for like.to me all of the forwards excluding southwell and possibly hearn are very alike.Agreed we dont have 1 winger and certainly no fast forward players.

Last Season for me Hearn and Elding worked fine if we needed to go longer we brought on Duffy and therefore had another option. The loss of Coulson cannot be appreciated fully at this stage but when you look at his assists and goals scored who will replace him?

Doubt JF would have the balderdash to ask him anyhow?I bought the AB dvd for a £10 tuesday night and have to say it was the best few quid ive spent on Town in years when you look at how quickly AB improved Martin Patterson you wonder what effect he would have on Hearn and Elding?

Alan Buckley is past , long long time ago,  if you being serious about bringing AB back Um Bongo get the excavation gear out, need time to get that fossil out.

love him but he would just get copulated over again by the club.

The players today played like they don't train with footballs, having the ball is alien to them and they just want rid of it quick, the tactics and the substitutions are pretty bad.

Agree with MickyLyons! I think Buckley's problem was attracting the right players, I think this squad is capable of playing football. I'd like to see them play a 3-5-2 that Buckley played M3. Think it would suit our squad!

Completley agree with the 3-5-2 pearson, pond and miller are more than competent to hold there own as a back 3.Push thomas as left winger as for all the other positions i'm really unconvinced by the lot of em

If the chairman (or whatever his title is these days) decides to sack S & H, I hope he appoints a manger who's had some success this century.

Buckley WOULD make a footballing side of this lot....but...and a big but (no pun intended) he will struggle when it comes to signing in players, because...

a) bar his third spell here he hasn't managed in nearly ten years
b) his signings third time round in my opinion, pushed us on the road to demise, he seemed incapable of signing any capable players.

Buckley alongside someone like Neil Woods or Macca...? Hmm we can always dream. Number 2 can be in charge of recruitment.

NNOOOOOOOOO   !!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't this club and fans move forward. The third coming at the end was dreadful. I don't want him back no matter how much I admired him for what he did. I admire Clive Mendonca and Paul Futcher, I don't want them on the pitch.

Baldrick ! The only impression you can do is that of a man with no talent !!
