It could have been up there with their best attendances of the season if we really had taken 3-4000 as some were speculating, a lot of fans were planning on walking up on the day.

Stupid as well because some of my mates are planning to go up to Lincoln for the day out and a couple of drinks seeing as they've already bought train tickets, won't take much for the few unsavoury characters that follow us to decide to do the same and cause trouble. They'll have more drinking time too.

Crazy choice everyone is baffled by it 6pm the day before the game, not the clubs for sure doing we needed the revenue.
No way the directors would readily agree to this,as this was a needed cash boost.

Surely after losing such a potential earner there must be a statement due? If the OB have insisted it's off then it's a bad, bad portent when a pre season friendly can't be staged and deemed too dangerous by the local police pen push... err... police force.

The whole estimation of visiting fans seemed no better than a stab in the dark, 800 to 3,000 ? Quite bizzarre, looks like all ticket games for pre-season friendlies next year ? At least Lincoln won't have been outnumbered at home twice in a week.

As I predicted the day the fixtures came out they (Lincs Police) have changed Boxing Day kick-off to 1pm. !

They are the poorest (financially) police force. I'm with those who say it was an inability to reach agreement over costs.

Went to the fans forum last night and normally they are dull  affairs with fans asking really banal questions and then no one wanting to ask a question but last night there was only 30 fans there but the questions were excellent it went on for 2 1/2 hours and the directors were a credit 4 new ones and it showed they answered every question and listened and that's not happened in years .
Plus they backed our new fundraiser and the directors signed up to it.

From what i heard on the grapevine 20 of the 30 fans there were "away fans"
