Missing again tonight. Not much info available that I can see. Seem to have heard conflicting reports of what the problem is, but what's the official word? Are we going to be missing him for the start of the season?

I'm sure I read a comment from a fan who'd spoken to Hearn the other day, and he'd said something quite cryptic

The concerning thing is, when is he going to get the games in for fitness?

We still have a few pre-season friendlies left don't we? If not in those, he'll have to get fit whilst in the reserves I guess

He started last season semi-injured and we played him: didn't score till God knows when, let him get fully fit this time before we unleash him again.

Agree 100% we've got enough fire power now without risking putting him out for a few months! Get him straight, then get him back in.

Get him fully fit and earning his place- we do have more options this season - don't break him before he's fully fit!

Let Cook, Elding, Southwell and Greg Pearson all have a bit of a head start !!

The club wouldn't be sticking his picture all over the new OS if they were planning to sell him.

Can't someone be injured without there being another motive.

That's exactly what he told us at Barton when we asked him on Saturday afternoon

My impression was that he would rather be out there having a game instead of sitting watching everyone else play while he's just kicking his heels (excuse the pun)

You have to take him at his word...unless all those with their conspiracy theories can come up with some better explanations

Hearn did a decent interview with the telewag not so long ago where it stated he appreciates what the club has done for him and how much better his life is now. I can't see him wanting or instigating a move away.

Yes I know money talks and he would go at the chance of a wage increase but I personally think that Hearn feels he owes the club for giving him this chance.
