Any smiths album is brilliant but I do find that it takes a While for 'new' fans to listen a few times before they enjoy it...

Some of their stuff is very intricate too, lyrically but also johnny marrs guitar work is immense....

Meat is murder is an excellent album too...

I heard this morning that Morrissey's wound up a few people with his thoughts on the Olympics...especially those Daily Mail types

Got to admit even though I'm enjoying the games, he's not too far wide of the mark with some of his comments about the Beckinghams etc

Big fan of The Smiths but I have almost found Morrissey to be one of the biggest most annoying girl privates in the world. His views on most things are ridiculous and he's just an absolute tool. I wouldn't be mourning if he accidently stepped in front of a bus travelling 60 miles an hour.

He mentioned in an old 80's interview him not having no friends and just sitting in his bedroom reading all the time. Can't possibly think why he would have had no friends.
