Yeah I worked in part of the construction industry, a few months after the company I worked for went into receivership a few months later we all got a breakdown of what really happend and where all the money went etc, once everything had been totally finalised.  I wasn't expecting it, but it was kinda nice of them to do so and quite interesting how it was all done.

I doubt everything will work out the same here, but who knows.

I woudn't mind a job working for a Insolvency Practitioners - seems good business at the moment and the only real winners out of it - £££.

Who knows what happend here but only takes an issue on a large job, so that payment is put on hold on one or two of the phases to cause massive cashflow problems and when payments delayed to suppliers' etc and refusal of supplies' etc, it's one big vicious circle.
