The Internet mariners are at worldnet in Leeds today and have topped their group.

Mariners 3 - 0 Dagenham and Redbridge
Mariners 2 - 0 Ipswich
Mariners 0 - 0 Bury

Currently waiting to find out who our first opponents are for the knockout rounds tomorrow.

Old Skool, another team representing GTFC in the vets tournament are also present. Not entirely sure on their current results but we believe they won 1 and drew 1 of their first two games.

Well done lads, really proud of you all. Get a few pints of refreshment down you and have a good go tomorrow. I played in goal for you lads a couple of weeks ago. Conceded two or three so Cactus dropped me the illegitimate.

I'd hazard a guess that there are at least 7 of our 15 man squad from the weekend who are on the fishy and are fairly regular posters.

Internet Mariners Old Skool started the day by beating RC Lens 2-0 but eventually lost in the quarters to Oxford. We were 1-0 up but conceded in injury time and lost out to a golden goal.

A great weekend away full of beer, good food and a bit of football.  If any 35+ year old players fancy a run out for us, feel free to get in touch.
