I,m sure Robbie Stockdale was delighted with the win.

I thought they improved as the game went on and stood up well to the physical side of the game ie kids playing against blokes. For me no one really stood out as a player who i thought could be in contention for a 1st team call up this season'. Lad who scored made a couple of good surges forward. The number 10 -Will Peers i think- showed a few good touches as well but was equally as wasteful on occasions.

The right back number 2 was Danny grant, he was a youth team player last year, played for the yts today, played well, then went over to left back, is this who you mean?

The big tall fair haired lad.....also played first half at Gainsborough and a half against Borough.

Batch, K.Moore, Waters, Wiggington, Crombie, Brolly, Ford, Drinkell, Mitchell, Cumming, Kilmore. D.Moore, Stone, Liddell. ....1979/80..... now that WAS a team.

Father Of went today and said he thought it was the worse youth team he had seen for years

Bit harsh the first years are barely settled in.

I'm sure Danny Grant scored for Grimsby Borough AGAINST us last week so not sure what's going on there!? He was definitely playing for us today.

The tall fair haired lad was Hamish Faloner and I'm fairly certain Danny Grant was released least year and now plays for Grimsby Borough!

He was the number 15 that came on in Fridays game wasn't he?  I liked the look of him, albeit a very brief appearance.

Exactly and he did very well at Gainsboro too - probably why he came on briefly last night.
Perhaps S&H are thinking of him as possible backup/cover for that left midfield position. (until someone else comes in ?)
Really pleased the managers are being open minded and giving everyone who deserves it, a chance(albeit brief) to shine.
