What do we all think the team for Southport on Sat 11th August will be?

I think possibly the below...

GK - James McKeown
LB - Aswad Thomas
CB - Ian Miller
CB - Shaun Pearsom
RB - Sam Hatton
LM - Louie Soares
CM - Craig Disley
CM - Derek Niven
RM - Joe Colbeck
ST - Liam Hearn
ST - Greg Peason

SUB - Frankie Artus
SUB - Antony Elding
SUB - Bradley Wood
SUB - Andy Thanoj
SUB - Dayle Southwell
SUB - Andy Cook

This is all that we have got to play with at the moment, hopefully the edition of one maybe two CB's and a GK.

i reckon:

                 Mckeown
Hatton  Pearson  Miller   Thomas
                  Niven
           Disley      Thanoj
Colbeck                         Soares
                  Hearn

I would personally start artus over soares but i think this is what we would start with.

i HOPE we play 4-4-2. I've obviosuly not been to any games since moving down to Devon but 4-4-2 seems to suit the players we have better from the reports and views i read on here

I'll hazard a guess we'll try 4-3-3 at Scunny with a view to trying that at Southport.

Not saying I'd necessarily agree with it though !
Don't really want us to go to places to "keep things tight" by packing the centre.
I'd much prefer us to go there with bags of belief and dominate the game from start to finish.

But if 4-3-3 IS gonna be played, perhaps Scunny is the best time for a trial run.

Though personally, I'd actually prefer us to go 442 and take the game to Scunny by attacking them.
We've already proved we can defend well so why not forget the score, be bold and let's see if we can beat them !
If we can we're gonna be fearless for Southport !

If it all goes mammaries up then no real harm done.
We can always then revert to this 4-3-3 (defensive) formation and see how that works with us "shutting up shop".
Well that's what I'd do anyway...
