Can anyone seriously believe Elding would be heading back to a League One club at the age of 30 having not played at that level for several seasons?

He is fine at this level and will get games and a few goals but I think his days in league one are in the past

[quote=14]Can anyone seriously believe Elding would be heading back to a League One club at the age of 30......WHY NOT.....?having not played at that level for several seasons?.......you got to remember he was at ROCHDALE before town in league 1, turned a move down at Plymouth in the league, before ROCHDALE was abroad. Before that CREWE in league 1, before that LEEDS in league 1. At his age? Means nothing if your good enough and fitter enough sure don't matter. If league 1 clubs are looking at him maybe it's because he has good experience. Also Anthony is a player westley knows very well, always helps.

But he's not exactly played loads at those clubs has he? And scored even less. He's not good enough for league one, nothing like.

Elding has found his level at last. Good player but easily replacable imo. If we got a decent bid for him it would be bye bye Elds for me.

People are calling elding excrement because he gets subbed, elding is not a target man and is like 3 inches smaller than duffy who is a target man and elding still wins more headers than him

i am a season ticket holder and i always will be one

Ill agree that Elding is not a traditional target man, but I think they are the same height - about 6'2''. Duffy wins (won) many more meaningful headers as well imo.

I'd expect to see Elding take over the Duffy role next season i.e. coming on in the last 10/15 to try and change things a bit.

There is no way he is that short. That is smaller than Messi!

Unless it was peanuts I would have sold no problem, he gets the crowd going and ok at this level but nothing special.
