centenary top ?

[color=red][/color]would anyone be interested in buying a gtfc replica shirt . i think its the centenary away top , its white with short sleeves with the foodtown logo across the middle and made by lotto . i think there were only a hundred made . if there is any interest i will put it on ebay with the details on here for the interested people to see when the auction starts. please let me know or i shall just keep it stuffed away

Centenary?  Doubt it mate. . . . . we were sponsored by findus in 1978.

Put it on Ebay, that is the only way to see if it will sell, put a reserve on it etc.

p.s.  I don't want to buy it!!!

Don't pretend you are doing a public service to Mariners fans. . . . you are trying to make as much cash as you can (and who can blame you in today's climate).  Doubt you will get enough for a couple of pints and a bag of chips though!!!

Food Town, wasn't that mid 1990's? I now lotto made our shirts in the mid 1990's but not before then!

this was a limited number  shirt was a white one with a red and blue diamond, Town wore it once, lost 5-0 or 5-1 away at Palace ( I think it was late October) and only 50 were made to sell. I remember the lady making sure I wanted to buy it in the club shop as I was still at school and even my mum said "It is his money he has saved", I am sure I got it from the club shop we had at Asda, but I may be mistaken.

By the way I already have it and is stored safely....you will not get much for it and only reason I keep shirts is because I love Town and want to show the world when I am old and decreepid and pretend what wonderful times the past was

yes i think your on about the same one they had 50 for the club shop and 50 for the shop in town . but its all white with red bits on the shoulder area

I've been looking after this top for a while, if it's the one I'm thinking off. (Seem to remember Clive stealing a goal on the line at Bradford away wearing it)

If you list it on eBay, I'd advise against using the word "centenary" on the listing.
