can we boost the number of away fans we get a little bit? Could someone create a football fan's guide to Cleethorpes that could be pasted on away fans forums before each game? Even if it only means £2-3,000 extra a year still probably worth it. Or does someone already do this?

Fair idea I reckon.
Les, if you have made a synopsis of "How to get there, pubs to go to, pubs not to go to, places to get fish and chips," etc etc I will make a thread for away fans to view on here too.

I used to do it occasionally last season. Mainly for clubs who we hadn't played before and were coming here for the first time. Haven't done anything this season though.

I was bored at work so I worked out average away following minus average away support at each ground to create a MOST PASSIONATE AWAY SUPPORT TABLE

414.5 Luton
328.7 Wrexham
299.7 Grimsby
199.4 Mansfield
137.6 York
95 Stockport
90.5 Newport
59.4 Cambridge
32.7 Lincoln
28.4 Darlington
-26.6 Barrow
-62.8 Gateshead
-64.1 Kidderminster
-74 Ebbsfleet
-83.3 Telford
-86.3 Bath
-98.4 Forest Green
-109.4 Southport
-115.4 Fleetwood
-168 Hayes & Yeading
-171.7 Braintree
-216.6 Tamworth
-224.2 Kettering
-225.5 Alfreton

So this clearly shows we have THE MOST PASSIONATE AND DEDICATED AWAY SUPPORT in the conference (apart from Luton and Wrexham)

I think if an accurate and truly representative article was written about what's around Blundell Park for away fans, then with a bit of luck we should be able to get a few of the smaller clubs support down into single figures next season.

Of course we were a 'new' ground for most when we first came down. Die hards have now sampled GY and decided not to have seconds. I was the same when I met 'sweaty betty'

And if we can arrange to clean the streets of dog poo we might get a few more Lincoln fans to come next season.

Sell the idea that they will taste the best fish + chips in the country, might add a few to the away numbers

I thought it could be marketed as "see how the other half live" type excusion to the well to do fans of other teams. Like when they take a gap year to go build a school in Africa, India and that.

It must be made clear that they will not taste the best fish and chips in the country if they get their portion from the chippy on the corner of Neville Street

Has any of our fans been in trouble maybe they are a little wary to come who knows or maybe they know they'll lose    still decent away support well done lads.  Was their a home support table?
