Excellent interview, very humble and seems like he really wants to be here!

Comes across as very level headed....not quite rags to riches but he's definitely doing well for himself and is humble enough to appreciate where he's come from

Come on Liam and get that 30th goal today!

He seems a sound bloke, but in my opinion you cant read into that to far. If a league 1 club comes knocking with an offer to triple his wages you cant blame him for leaving, if god forbid he does

What would you do? I know I'd be off like a shot. He seems a cracking lad, but he is 26 and in 5 years time he will be coming to the end of his football career with another 35 working years ahead of him. I'd fill my boots while the moneys there if I was him.

I'm not convinced that roofer to Grimsby Town (BSP 2012) 'star' is that great a progression quite frankly.

30 years ago maybe..

I tweeted the Peterborough chairman about any potential bids for LH back in feb after the window has closed.

His reply was no bid was submitted but he liked the look of him.

Fenty maybe many things but he is a good businessman and has never got a bad deal for the club. For example Reddy when Bristol City bid he held out for more. That was a bad decision but something he has never done is sold players on the cheap.

Ive not worded it great. What I was saying is Reddy was worth more than what Bristol City offered and if he hadn't gone and got badly injured in the first game(which JF could not have foreseen) of the season and had another decent season the bids would have been bigger. He also got us good deals for Bennet and Connell.

I think that was because at that time we were looking near certainties to make the play-offs.  It would have been a huge risk for the club and his own personal standing if Liam was allowed to leave and we didn't make the play-offs.  I think it is a different situaton now and he will be allowed to leave in the summer at the right price and while there is time to find a replacement.

Oh sorry!

In that case make it simply:

I'm not convinced that roofer to Grimsby Town 'star' is that great a progression quite frankly.

Oh and Fenty will sell Hearn if any half decent bid comes in - he has to, at least I hope he will.

We need the money and selling our better players is a necessity if we are to avoid anymore 'benign loans' from Fenty for which we will all have to thank and worship him forever more as our 'saviour'

I feel that the last 5 seasons JF's and the boardroom business acumen has been nothing short of absolutely terrible.  No question about running a fish business it's just a shame that so far he hasn't been able to transfer that to running a football club.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Liam has 2 years left so one more season with us and then I think he will go but he is happy here if we can break even and the fans do their bit and attend games knowing that we can challenge next season then there is no point in selling at the moment.

never done a bad deal for the club he made the choice with the bankrupt electrician to employ a kids coach who was already failing miserably rather than employ someone who knew the club and was a proven motivater to keep our league status......and in my opinion that decision was made around his personal beef with slade rather than the good of the club,my club our club that as to resort to looking forward to games with gainsboro trinity
