Will be gutted if he leaves GTFC.

Not going to read too much into a pretty ambiguous statement though.

I think he's got some news but won't say it at the minute. Don't know what the news is though.

He's off then.

If he was staying or wanted to stay he would just say, surely.

A big loss to us. I'm sure the gaffers have some suitable targets in mind.

Unless perhaps players have been told not to reveal contracts on twitter ?
Or negotations are ongoing or it's prior to Monday ?

Or he could just be putting feelers out to the fans to see if he's wanted, doing a semi-wind up or could just be pushing for a better deal.
Sounds a bit dodgy but not jumping to conclusions just yet....

Go on Charlie mate,
Hey I've been pushing for you to be in the team all season, you owe me that much !
You know it makes sense...

Very silly decision on the boys behalf.
Had decent prospects in here that he won't have playing eighth division football in sunnier climates.

Could POTENTIALLY have just thrown a career in professional football down the pan.

I think if he wasn't being offered a deal then he would have gone today.

Unless he's been offered an equal deal and rejected it? Which would mean we retain his registration and anyone who signs him must pay a fee.

I personally think he's been unsettled the last few months...

What Charlie needs to understand is if he didn't get injured before the Lincoln game he would have gone on and made more appearances but he has to respect that the player who came in (Garner) took his chance until he got injured, I'm sure he will sign new deal and us going to Spain on holiday on Monday.  What we don't need is another load if players trying to fund their feet and another bad start to the season.

Maybe he just wants to enjoy his future instead of being involved with a bunch of losers in a shithole town.

You never know.

Sunnier climes in Spain during the close season with his family - why wouldn't you be happy to say you were going home to your mum's cooking ??

Young damsels in bikinis with sun tans for longer than the normal fortnight hols - we're all just envious !!

It will all come out on Monday - just think he is a talent worth nurturing for the next couple of seasons as one of the two centre midfielders, certainly chance of a fee if he comes good and goes on to dominate in the team.

There seems to be a lot of jumping the gun and conclusions being made here over reading between the lines of a twitter comment.

I personally believe Garner was a much better player & I'anson is better thought of by fans at least because he's come through the system IMO. Happens a lot.

That said him leaving would be a blow, he's a decent enough player probably on low wages. Good backup and this now means we need to find two CB's of decent caliber willing to sit on the bench.

To give the lad some credit, he's obviously thought a lot about the move before making a decision.

I reckon a waiter or barman in Spain is probably about the only profession that gets more sex than a professional footballer so good luck to him...
