Apparently "the aquifers are still empty. We will need at least a month of continual drizzly rain to replenish them" according to some water company gadgee this morning. Hang on fella, we've had practically a month of heavy downpours... Make your minds up....
(I had to laugh that Lisa Gallagher, weathergirl  had tweeted that their week in Northumberland in a caravan had been washed out... Maybe she should have realised the weather was gonna be crap, being a weathergirl...)
