I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

An unbelievably stupid thing to do and quite rightly sent off. Ramires' goal was fantastic though.

Chelsea's defence reminds me of the Downey, Newey, Lump, Bolland foursome that finished the game at Wrexham.

Fantastic performance by the 10 men and what a great way to cap a great night by Torres

I'm not a Chelsea fan but it can't be denied they deserve their spot in the final

Loved it.

Pleased Barca have been found out again to shut up the sycophants and Chelsea defended soooo well.

The fact Terry will miss the final is the icing on the cake!

Agreed. I didn't want them to win, but, they deserved it. It'll also be funny to see Terry sat crying in the stands!

Chelsea won me over in the end. Started off wanting Barca but the way they battled second half I thought they deserved it. Still hope they lose final.

Loved the Terry excuse for the sending-off. Would've been more believable if he'd said he was goose-stepping and Sanchez just got in the way.

Great performance from Chelsea, can't stand them myself, but top marks for that!

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Congrats Chelsea, but they got to the Final through luck not good defending. Conceding 47 shots over two legs is not good defending.

Nothing to do with luck. Messi's penalty miss wasn't luck, it was off target.

Yes, they won 3-2 on agg, but I contest the assumption that they defended well. They were resilient. You can't tell me that it wasn't an element of fortune in Barce hitting the woodwork a handful of times over two games. Petr Cech having his two best games of the season is somewhat lucky.

What was that all about

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I don't know if it's just because I never usually watch champions league or premiership, perhaps it's because I'm used to town, but Barca fully deserved to lose the way they continually dicked about with the ball on the edge of the box, without ever chipping it in or getting the balls on to the wings for a cross. Maybe it's not the way they play, but they camped on the 18 yard line and never bothered to actually do anything productive

Barca ran out of ideas like they did vs Real - suprised there weren't more long shots too !

Was sat there thinking they could have done with a Buckley's style (i.e. play it up to Tony Rees and lay it off to an onrushing player)

I love the way Torres took the hoofed pass down seemingly over his shoulder and controls it without breaking stride. Class.

I don't really like Chelsea and admire Barcelona.
But I see this as payback for Chelsea's unfair semi final defeat at Stamford Bridge a few years ago when Drogba(quite rightly IMO) lost it in front of the camera.

i thought the same re the flanks. dani alves was had a cres of space yet never crossed it (i know it's not their way) nor did he really drive into the box and take on the full back.
watching real-bayern last night i kept thinking how barca could've done with benzema or gomez up front.
