as long as we don't interfere like we usually do then I couldn't give a rats a**e.  but like everything, we will stick our nose in... and get a few more of our lads killed for the sake of a few trigger happy jews.

Of course we stick our nose in...we've done it through out our history, why change now. Of course dealing with problems in our country isn't important enough...

With reduced manpower, resources and investment our forces will soon be struggling to be called a force.  I speak from experience of over 20+ years working with all three elements of HM Forces, we'll soon be back to patrolling with pitch fork handles like they used to during conscription in the 50's and 60's.

When i first joined the RAF the manpower was 96,000 no idea what it is now.
The Russians and China have what we don't have manpower,could you imagine the USA's and UK's obese being called up to fill the gaps in the infantry.

I'm sure I've heard it mentioned at work that the RAF is around or below 34,000, the Army is under 200,000, the navy has been cut to well below what it was.  Rumour that the Marines will be absorbed into the Army and there is already some RAF trades serving on warships.

The size thing doesn't matter as long as you can pass your level on the bleep test and do the amount of press ups and sit ups as well.  It's the younger generation who are struggling to pass the fit tests.  You also have some of the army lads failing or struggling with BFT's and fit tests because they are struggling to get time off to train.  It's funny in a way because the Fitness level of the RAF has gone up dramatically were the Army is struggling.

It also doesn't help that once you get over 35 to 40 your knees start to go.

When i was in fecking hell i am sounding like Uncle Albert here, it was muted that to every fighter pilot there was 31 tradesmen compared to the Israeli 7 to 1 ratio.
So it looks like that has finally happened.
The fitness is a worry our population is expanding in the wrong direction via the waistline ,there are far too many demands placed on the Army now.

The amount of deaths was shocking from poor eqiuipment yet hundreds of billions were released straight away to the banks yet they could not find a few hundred million for the troops says it all really.

We will go to war with Iran and Russia,

Also, I'd rather have the young men and women they'd send over there alive and well and just cope with those transport issues.
