For any people gambling on the French Cup out there: it may be 1-1 but Quevilly have very much equalized against the run of play and continue to be put under the kosh by Stade Rennais. i.e. put your money on the rouge et noirs!

Sounds like a few bigoted Town fans were at the other semi-final in Ajaccio too - judging by what happened to Gomis!

Yeah, Gazelec completely lost their heads, on and off the field. Loads off bookings, argy bargy in the tunnel at half-time, man sent off early on. Shame because they are having a brilliant season as well in the league.

They play good stuff. If they don't win the league, it will be interesting to see how many of the current squad they can keep hold of. Olivier Giroud has openly stated in the past he wants a transfer to England and many members of the squad are young under 25's who are already internationals. I hope they do it because PSG with all their spending power are inevitably going to win the title sooner but Montpellier have been knocking on the door for a few years now.
