Just had a quick check on the average points per game comparing power being inside the boardroom and it being outside. . . . I too Fenty's resignation and the last day of the trust ballot as my dates. . .

Outside of the boardroom, trust give shares by generous benefactor etc 2.5 points per match
Power inside the boardroom/capitulated trust/dodgy courtcase/unsettled managers 1 point per match!

Explain this anyone, not saying I know the answer but it sure points towards one thing to me!!!

I dont see how that explains it fully. . fenty hasnt been on the pitch or training ground as he? I think the ciurt case was unsettling though!

I can explain it. Our excellent run coincided with us playing the majority of teams below or around us. And also with JF not being the chairman. Since he took his place back, we've played an awful lot of teams above or around us. And we aren't any better than a lot of them.
So it's down to coincidence.

This, coupled with we don't have a strong enough squad for a top 5 finish.

I do think roundball has got a point. .  . i think she is right in that everything fenty touches in terms of gtfc turns to sh1t. .   the more hands-off he is the better for the mighty mariners
