And who pays the outside company ?

i suppose it also helped playing l;incoln on new years day. but, it just goes to show, that the confidence is returning to the club. we are unfortunate not to have many teams/clubs that bring a 'decent' away following.

Does that mean the stewards are volunteers or does the company that employs them just waive the fee ?

Our average last season was 3071.
We lost around £900K
Based on 23 home games, we lost approx £39,130 per home game
Assuming the 'average' fan pays £13 (a mix of adult and child/OAP), then we were approx 3,000 fans (3000X13) down per game.
Last season, we would have broken even with approx 6,100 fans per game.
Clearly, our club is being run more like Woolworths than Tesco.
For comparison, I know Scunthorpe need around 3600 fans per home game to break even.

well we need 3500 per home game to break even and next season we will need 3200 per home game to break even

That is incorrect.

The 3000 figure quoted previously was what had been budgetted for. This season that was expected to result in a £500k loss (before the part payment of the add ons for Bennett0

The break even figure was not formally announced but i guess is something ridiculous like 6000
