My wish list for next season...

3 up, 3 down or even better 4 up (3 automatic) (1 playoff), 4 down.

Is there an official petition anywhere? it's crap just two places, how the hell was it just one place a few seasons ago... terrible.

We might have Bradford and Northamption or similar teams playing against us next season!

This won't change.

And if it does it'll take years. Not a few uppity Grimsby Town fans signing an online petition.

Years ago, in the BSP's (Conference, Alliance) infancy, the league committee ruled over what were traditional non league clubs. Now they rule over a league that has more traditional ex league clubs in it than there are non league......(if you get what i mean).

It gives their league more credibility with us and the like in it that it did years ago with teams like Fisher, Tonbridge, Leamington etc.

None of us like being here, but we are here and amongst old friends from our recent past and a bit longer (Southport, Gateshead, Newport).

Think  back to when lincoln became the first team to be relegated automatically from the league in 87 (i think)....they found themselves amongst and in a proper non league environment....nothing like it is at present.

Batch, K.Moore, Waters, Wiggington, Crombie, Brolly, Ford, Drinkell, Mitchell, Cumming, Kilmore. D.Moore, Stone, Liddell. ....1979/80..... now that WAS a team.

It's not a matter of whether the conference will allow more teams to be promoted, it's whether league Two will. And as more teams going up will also mean more teams being relegated from League Two, they'll never agree to that.
The best option IMO would be regionalising League Two and the Conference, so that we would have League Two North and League To South.
