Darren Perch

Reina was stupid but Perch was Reprehensible between the initial trip and then the exageration on the no contact head butt.  Only saving grace for Perch was that it was against Liverpool, but he is quickly becoming an odious twit.  Dirty player.

Keepers think they have the right to over react in such a manner when they are fouled. It was probably a foul initially by Perch although pretty minimal contact. Reina deserved to go for his silly over reaction and Perch's simulation was pathetic. Like others have said there should be no place for it, the FA and Premier League could get rid of antics like this overnight if they wish to but they obviously don't. The referee dealt with the whole incident spot on in my opinion.

Regarding Perch as a player I can't comment now as I rarely watch Premier League football anymore but I can't believe someone known as "second touch a tackle" when in League One at Forest is playing regularly for a top 6 Prem team. Pardew has worked wonders.

I believe Everton's support is in majority local fans, with Liverpool being the opposite.  Its a fairly obvious assessment i would think.  I don't particularly see a marketing angle either to be honest with you.  Care to expand?

Liverpool have been at the forefront of the commercialisation of the game throughout the modern era, they are no different to the other top clubs in the premiership, touting for support in the Far East, trying to develop a fan base in America, support from all over the British Isles.. . . . . . but they are a "people's club"

The sooner these so called big clubs p##s off to a european league the better. The F A should put an embargo on the number of foreign players coming into our game, the better our game would become , as the english players can get back to how football was played , if you got tackled you just got up and got on with it , not squealing like a pig and rolling around on the floor, it really irritates me and I agree with others on here , don't watch the overpaid pansies . Real football is played lower down the league, with honest endeavour and hardwork, ala kidderminster on saturday.
