Well. . . you can either challenge me on what i said or just have a go at me for something i didn't say.
He was a supremely talented footballer but one i didn't like because i thought his attitude was wrong and he was lazy! That is what i said and thst is why i didn't like him.

Calling him a "genius" says far more about you than it does about hoddle. .   learn to read you forum-genius! Pmsl

Scored the best goal I've ever seen against Watford for Spurs. Backheeled to himself in the box and chipped Sherwood and scored into the far corner from inside the area. Amazing.

Still, shouldn't get the England job as he hasn't had a managers job in years.

Listen pal, dont burn your bridges with one of the only people on here who on occasion agrees with you, but no way was he lazy, just misunderstood in this country, he waas years ahead of his time.

Look at us now, planning on building a team around Wilshere, we could have done that 30 years ago with this guy, but didnt have the foresight, instead opting for kick and rush, and where has that gor us.

He was never lazy, just different!!!

And by the way, learning to read my forum-genius, will not get me any further, or make me any more skilled in the REAL world, keyboard warrior

I was too young to see Hoddle play, are you saying he was like an English Xavi / Iniesta?

He said that he feels that his "life is incompete" without the job. He should see it as punishment for sins commited in previous management jobs.

I'd rather Neil Woods got the job.

RBOH, I'm guessing you boo when Town play possession football, i.e. play a ball backwards to hang on to it rather than lump it forward really quick?
The man was a genius, his goal on debut (sidefoot half volley into top corner) against Bulgaria was one of Englands finest ever, !

I was there for that game. Stood behind the goal. I seem to recall the original game was postponed the night before due to fog?
