Just scored a goal of Van Basten-esque proportions against Man City.

So good,it deserved a mention.

Absolutely brilliant goal. Not as good as Van Basten's though.

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

For those old enough to remember it, it reminded me more of Justin Fashanu's goal for Norwich which won him MOTD goal of the season way back when

Great strike by Crouch though

I didn't realise until the commentator mentioned it that the ball doesn't touch the floor from leaving the keepers hands until it hit's the back of the net!

Fash's goal was more central

Still think Van Basten's is the best strike, followed by Gazza against Scotland. Maradona's against England come third.

Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play.
It is bound up with hatred,jealousy,boastfullness,
disregard of all rules and a sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence;
In other words it is war without the shooting.

Easily goal of the season.  If this would have been scored by one of the big four the press would still be talking about it.  Much more legit than that lucky deflection Toure got to equalize.
