Stole this from another footie website:
The Football Conference have pleasure in confirming the details for the staging and LIVE screening of ALL Blue Square Bet Premier Play-Off Semi-Final games and the Promotion Final, to conclude the 2011/12 season.

This particular season is and continues to be, full of twists and turns towards the final full round of matches on Saturday, 28th April.

All those final round of matches in the Premier Division will kick-off at 1pm, with one to be chosen to be screened LIVE by our broadcast partner Premier Sports Television (Channel 433).

The first game in the Play-Off Semi-Finals will feature the fourth-placed team hosting the third-placed team on Wednesday 2 May with a 7.30pm kick off.

The second game will feature the fifth-placed team hosting the second-placed team on Thursday, 3rd May again with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Both second Leg Semi-Final games, with reverse fixtures, will take place on Monday (Bank Holiday) 7th May.

The game between the clubs finishing in 3rd & 4th place will kick-off at 2.00pm.

The game between the clubs finishing in 2nd & 5th place will kick off at 4.30pm.

We repeat ALL Blue Square Bet Premier Play-Off matches will be shown LIVE on Premier Sports Television, (Channel 433) which will include the Promotion Final itself to be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 20th May at 3pm.

I think the play off teams should play whoever is next to them, 3rd v 4th is ok but 2nd v 5th and you've got a bit of a gap there...same goes for all the other play offs

It's to reward the team that's finished higher during the course of the season...I can't see any other way of it being fair

I think it should be drawn out of a hat or bag. No arguments then

I naively thought Sky would take the play-offs, would've been a lot easier to watch them then.
