I spotted this morning that Question Time is from Grimsby tonight. Is anyone on here going?

Don't often watch it but I might have to tonight

Beat me to it...I was going to ask the same question

Could be a feisty show tonight following on from yesterday's budget with the ConDems being represented by Vince Cable!

Anyone watch it?  Not too bad but nowhere near as meaty an agenda as the last one I saw from GY where Margaret Beckett was made to squirm

IMHO it didn't seem a very representative mix of Grimsby residents last night but what do I know....I don't live in the town anymore but there didn't seem to be too many local accents coming over the airwaves

I watched it and thought it was poor last night. The panel was boring and a couple of the questions were non-starters.

Audience was much less lively that previous times in Grimsby. Surprising number of non-Grimsby accents in the audience too.

Not very observant old chap, one questioneer was a local councillor, another two were  prospective councillors.Just because they can complete a sentence without adding" Darl" at the end doesn't mean they're not local.

What's a questioneer darl?

Many of us may use the term darl a lot, however you have mch more in common with many of the proletariat of Grimsby, an unemployed, parasitic benefit bum...or so I'm told of course...

Looked like rent-an-audience. I have no idea how they managed to find so many right wing people on the streets of Grimsby. One thing I did notice though was Vince Cable's barely disguised contempt for David Davies.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

I guess it depends how far right-wing you want to go. Sadly I suspect you won't have too much difficulty finding at least two dozen BNP supporters in the town.

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
