A very close game which could have gone either way.

3-3 after extra time and Abatis win on penalties. Sadly the lad who missed is evidently just 16, but he had a fantastic game. Chin up. One of those games were neither side deserved to lose

He had a great game to be fair to him, thought he really could pick a pass out for such a young lad.

Penalties are harsh. When it came to it, I asked my lads if they wanted to have a go and I admire them for taking the responsibility - I'm not sure I would have been so keen - IMO, it shows the type of lads I have tried to bring into our squad.

Still alive mate. Legs taking time to get going this morning but all us finely tuned athletes have this problem!

I feel great but due to pints of godknowswhat, shocking at the same time! Seriously glad I'm not at work! Really proud of the lads last night, we worked so hard to keep up with a good Tower side who showed us what it would be like if we manage to win promotion a couple of divisions. One of the best nights of my life, thanks to BigChris who allowed the game to flow and was largely anonymous (always a good thing for a ref).

The cup looks nice in my GTFC memorabilia room! UTM and UTA and thank you for the fishyites who came down to support us last night.

He did well mate, he's 3 years younger than me although he looks 3 years older! lol! I wanted to put myself on but I'd have embarassed myself, I can only play in a 3 man centre midfield nowadays so the other 2 do my running!
