What's car parking like near the ground?  Should I be worried about leaving my car in that vicinity?

The ground is in probably the roughest area I've been to on a away day, I think (I'm not 100% sure) there was a residential parking scheme in the surrounding streets

Looking at google earth, the train station does not look to far to walk from, nice big car park.

I'm wondering if it might be better to leave the car in Letchworth (quite near Luton) and get the train from there (if there's one direct).

I know a lad from Letchworth so I will see what he says next week.
