Townsend has looked a bit shaky in recent games compared to his earlier form. I wonder if, perhaps, this is because he is tiring? It's his first season of first-team professional football and it must be very intense for a young lad. I thought his performance improved in the second half with Winn playing in front of him, however, and an excellent free-kick to cap it off.

remember dean gordon ex prem left back we had, thought he was a cracking player to and was missed when he left. He also could strike a ball!
