Not my opinion, or I doubt any other Town fan who was there, but according to David Pye's match report in this mornings NLP.

Does this chap actually go to the games?

It's a job. In some respects not having a town fan does help to keep a report more balanced.

However, sometimes his reports aren't brilliant. That said, credit must go to the telewag, 99% of their reports are poor...consistency is key.

The boxing reporter gave a good assessment of Kev Hoopers last title fight. N seemed a decent bloke, not arrogant n wrong but unable to admit it. I don't rate Pie/pye as a journo he's a scruffy embarrassment as a representative of the local press !!

Is he local, if he is he is just typical of not having a spine and follow his local team, it seems his match reports are done begrudgingly like a school kid doing home work that he doesn't want to do.  urine poor 4/10

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

First half the ref gave a few soft free kicks n let them away with pulling n pushing, but wasn't the worst display by an official, hardly any fans moaning about the officials at halftime, more about a lacklustre first half. However it went wrong second half with the ref seemingly losing his way. A strong ref would have stopped their spoiling tactics n play acting by issuing a few cards a lot earlier than he did. We may be non league but as the majority of clubs are full time now and ex league maybe the conference need to consider raising the standard of referees they employ to match the games they are officiating!

I saw that Soares had been given an 8 out of 10.  I think the mark may have given on reputation for his 17 goals this season.

you can't support  both, make your mind up you clown................what affinity have you got with liverpool? let me guess, you subscribe to sky sports, sit in your "lazyboy" armchair, sit at home ranting at the tv about how liverpool once ruled  Europe, whilst putting down grimsby town for having "no ambition"
your'e just the same as any other "plastic" in the town, the real reason you "support" liverpool is because your fragile ego cannot cope with supporting a team that is not fashionable amongst other plastics such as you,you want instant success, fair play to you if you hold a liverpool season ticket and have a scouse accent,if not don't post on here because you won't be taken seriously on any matter regarding grimsby town football club.......now jog on kitty.
