When the ref chatted to the fourth official and stewards, it was after a chat with a black Braintree player. Looked ominous, anybody have a different view?

Somebody said it was abuse aimed at Aswad Thomas no3. He was their best player by far n easily their MOM. One to keep an eye on in my opinion. He's got awareness, pace, positional sense and covers a lot of ground. Townsend will need replacing next season and Thomas gave one of the best defensive/ overlapping full back displays at BP this season!

Didn't hear any racial abuse but your summing up of the Braintree player was spot on

Kids nowadays eh? They only repeat what they hear or read what adults say. Be it at home, out and about, or on a day trip on a coach organised by a respectable member of the comunity.

I sit in the Pontoon and from what I could see it wasn't a child doing the abusing. Something was definately said to him by a female supporter (unsure if it was racist) stood next to the barrier who quickly made a hasty exit when she realised the player in question had made a complaint and the ref went over to the dugout. I didn't hear what was said but he clearly wasn't happy whatever it was.

She didn't have blonde hair with big mammaries and mummy on the back of her town top did she?   ha ha sorry couldn't resist after reading the top 10 fishy moments the other night.
