According to an Owls supporting friend of mine it's been on the cards for some time. He has never been a popular manager with the fans and although he's turned things around massively recent games have been poor with some silly defeats. Couple this with their intense rivals in second place with two games in hand and the pressure is on.

Oh, and he has Mandaric as his boss.
