dunno if anyone has been keeping an eye on next season's potential opponents ,but it's developing into quite an interesting dogfight. some weird and wonderful results last night - bradford winning 4-0 at barnet for a start.both clubs have been picking up just recently but this result dumps barnet back in there whilst bradfut are now 7 points clear.incredibly hereford managed to lose 5-4 at gillingham despite being 4-1 at one stage - 3 goals in the last 10 minutes did for them and they look in real trouble,.they are now equal on points with dagenham who got a valuable 2-1 win at morecambe. macclesfield maybe the dark horses - they have been on an appalling run of form and only halted that with a last minute equaliser against the evr improving plymouth. i think argyle will escape but i can't say the same for our old mates from n'ton who are rock bottom, and adie boothroyd surprisingly seems to have made very little difference.

It's the teams NOT near the bottom we'll be playing next season hopefully.

Everton away 1984
Middlesborough away 1989

I hope Northampton go down (just don't like them) but Barnet is a good away day and Bradford would be very handy if we don't go up.

you're definitely a cup half full sort of man les!
burton, chasetown, braintree, bath city, too many times at dagenham, regular dickings at palace and all our other bogey sides, 4-1 at torquay to go bottom of div 2, 6-1 at luton in the pishing rain, crichton at forest, 7-1 at wendy, mk tossbags and cheltenham in the finals - i've got a catalogue of psychologically damaging memories

Every club has to lose some games. We have had shite the last 10 years but to go 40 years is to far!

trouble is mate i've always been an exile so 80% of my matches are away fixtures which are more prone to end in disappointing defeat, particularly as we for so long were a struggling club in a tough division 1. i managed at 1 stage in the 90's to go 29 matches without seeing a win - it's had such an effect that my 'par' score for a town match is a 2-0 defeat! anything better than that is a bonus
