Please can this be stickied? Saves every one wrongly guessing when Darlo or Kettering make the news.

Makes things harder if Kettering go but it doesn't look like the terminal blow it did a few weeks ago.

Been explained on here before, Darlington would make little difference. Infact it could make things worse, though the mentality of Darlington going will help us shines through on here when a thread about Kettering going bust is met with people saying 'hope not'!

well looking at that spreadsheet, if darlo go it helps us?!

Of course I dont want to see football clubs vanish into a black hole but right now I would do anything to get us out of this league!

I currently have a mental picture of Pontoon Lew.

But we play Darlo in a few weeks. A win potential there is 3 extra points, surely a better scenario than the one with no Darlo?

I think Lew means that if Darlo go bust we'll not have a game whenever we're supposed to play them in April and others will make ground up on us.

In reality that'll be the same on other weekends for all teams other than those who've played them twice. The only way we'd be disadvantaged is against teams who have played Darlo twice but failed to beat them in either game. The only team in the top half meeting that criteria is York - so if Darlo went they'd be 2 points worse off than us but they'd effectively gain a game over us the weekend when we don't play. If they win that they'll be net 1 point better off than us. That also assumes we would have beaten Darlo at the White Elephant Arena. Truth is we would be better off if they went but not massively so.

Yeah pretty much that. Very few teams around us still have to play Darlo again and we are the last in the top 10 to play them. Meaning April 7th will see us 100%fail to gain points.
