Too early yet for Liam to be compared to the others, although I seriously think he has enough to play at championship level.  Of the other two I think Mendonca was the better finisher but Drinks was the best all round forward.

Mendonca and Drinkell were totally different types of striker. Both excellent players, Drinkell being superior in the air and Mendonca having lightning thought and turning and shooting ability. Nothing to choose between them really. As for Hearn, he is playing in non league, the other two played in the Premiership!

Drinkell was all that and smoked 20 a day as well. Incredible.

Hearn is a long way short of the other two. Drinkell was probably the better all round player and his time in the top flight north and south of the border proves that but Mendonca's touch was top quality
