Can anyone remember the last time we achieved that feat?  3 wins was a few years back too.

Think it was the same time we won 3 on the bounce, then we didnt win for 12 games or something? Think i heard that on the radio yesterday

Yeah 07/08 season we last won 4 league games on the bounce, but we didn't have a bad run directly after

Yeah, 07/08. Except it wasn't really as JT described it.

We won 4 league games in a row around New Year (and also at Stockport in the JPT), but the unbeaten run carried on for another 6 games.

Does it count though if 2 of those wins were against a side as woeful as the gimps?

But for the flukiest of saves by the Mansfield keeper,it would be 7 wins on the trot i think.

If we win at Cambridge,i'll start to believe a bit more.

I think 11 UTS in 1952 could be wrong though .

Thanks Clive, was wondering if we could beat it but that might be a bit much!

I was wondering the same. I reckon we'll be almost exactly where we were last year now, except that this time we're progressing whereas last year we were stagnant.

The poor start to our season will probably come back to bite us, but progress is good and the duo are still learning at this level. York and Fleetwood have spent a fair bit on players, Luton have so to be honest if we can match them on the pitch, then we will be doing better than I expected this season!

Table after 27 games last year (25/1/11 - the weather!) : http://www.grimsbytown-mad.co......o=140&teamno=260

We're 2 points better off, but 2 points further away from the playoffs and having played the same amount of games. What does this prove? Er, no idea!

Thanks. Probably a good indicator of how unbalanced and unpredictable this league is. Considering our poor start this season which I think was poorer than our first in this div, we are doing a lot better, if we'd have been quicker out of the blocks we may have been comfortably in a play off position. But eh ho makes for an exciting end of season if we carry on as we are!

Yes, my bad. I got my Wembley final seasons mixed up from what I heard on the radio yesterday.

Cambridge is a hard place to go to, their home record is pretty good this season. I'd take a draw

I'd take a win. Nothing less.  Come on you mighty stripies.  To play in Black and White away wouldn't go amiss too.

A draw on Tuesday would be a great result in all honesty. They are good at home and a point away is good wherever am whoever you are

Yes, my bad.

Mistake.

Your mistake.

Not your 'bad'.

A 'bad' isn't a flipping thing.

Were you taught that shite at school? Have a word with yourself.
