Hearn is priced at 25 for tomorrow's game, cracking value if you ask me. He's going to want to stick it to the Boo boys that will be there for him in the home crowd

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

How much do you lose on that if he doesn't score? Don't understand spread betting.

You would lose 25 x your stake.

Say you put £1 on him and he doesn't score, you lose £1 x 25 = £25

If he scores for example in the 34th and 75th minute, you would win 34 + 75 x £1 = £109, less his price (25) so your total winnings would be £84.

The absolute maximum you can lose is 25 x your stake in any case.

So what happens if he scores before 25 minutes like today?

If he scores once in say the 15th minute you would "win" £15, less your stake of £25, so a £10 loss.

Bear in mind also, with spread betting, you have to have enough money in your account to cover your maximum loss. Goalminutes aren't so bad because you can only lose your stake x price.

Or get a credit account. I don't spread bet much as I think it's generally poor value and the bookies margins are much greater than in fixed odds but I settle up every week with the spread bookies I use the handful of occasions a year I do it.

You could, but you can lose alot of money on spread betting, so it's definitely not for the novice.
