Does anyone remember the Czechoslovakian goal keeper scoring against Town in the late 1950's must have been 57 or 58.  Think the team were Prague Spartak, anyway windy night at BP, their goalie gets the ball thumps it up field from the Pontoon end, we had a lad called White (son of a local Headmaster) in goal think he was a trainee or trialist, he advanced to the p spot to catch the ball, coming like a train, thought better of it and let it bounce, over his head and in, could have heard a pin drop, can't remember much else except it finished 2 a piece.  Think the Czech side also played Middlesboro on the same tour.

So never mind all the prem league lot, Schmeichel et al, it happened first at BP!
