Just wondering whether monday's game will have generated record match receipts for the club? Does anyone know the current record?
In the good old days the Rothmans Football Yearbook had record receipts listed for each club ...

Dont be silly, we used to have loads more supporters in the ground in the good old days. Even with the price difference the reciepts would be massive

Be difficult to exceed the Villa figure for a league game even with todays prices - nearly 25% of the ground is ST holders. The Chelsea FA Cup game to the Villa figure though - it was after we went all seater but the extra greeen seats were installed and the attendance was 10k compared to 15k for the Villa game but with two thirds on the terraces at the latter.

glad we got a decent attendance   hopefully the club goes on a decent run and attendances start going up

I reckon if you ignore the cup games and friendlies our average attendance so far is 3160 (3358 same time 10/11 but with 3 fewer games). For the 14 home games played we are 2237 over the magic 3000 number.

Also, add in 4 cup games we won't have budgeted for and didn't have last year and we can't be doing too badly.
