The club cancelled the auction, and are letting us have the gate for Matty and Richard, and they are going to make the money up to £300 and give it to charity.

I've just got home from work after an early start and a late finish. I'm still adding up the pledges, but I think they're going to come to more than £300, anyway.

Finally finished adding up the pledges, and we made £292.50. So far, around two thirds of people have paid already or contacted me to let me know cheques are in the post etc. This is incredible, and I'm just blown away by everones generosity and kind words about the idea.
There will be an article in tomorrows Telegraph, and probably one later on when the plaque is presented/unveiled. It's been a crazy couple of days, but worth it!
