Great idea Aldi. Obviously the choice of charity is yours but Brain Tumour UK would be more than happy to accept any kind of donation.

How about people pledge a fee per town win? After every game we win for the rest of the season, every player who played in the match has their boots cleaned.

Then split the total money raised 50/50 between the youth team and a charity.

I could do it for a couple of charities...I may make an outrageous comment like I'll clean ther boots for the calendar year or something daft or until the end of the season.

I'll send the club and email and te players who have agreed and supported my comment...

Cheers les, may be picking your brains about setting up sponsors etc...

Would people support me and may be another fellow mariner cleaning all the players boots for charity...

A comment was made on twitter when slightly intoxicated that I'd clean every players boots if we did the gimps twice, well we did and Liam hearn is holding me to me comment...

Thoughts anyone?

Thought Les could help or support it perhaps for his charity???

What about the Arty White Foundation in conjunction with Les!s charity

He certainly does seem like a decent bloke...fair play to him. He could ignore us if he wanted to...

Haha - I'd join you Aldi.

A bit of spit and polish and I'll hold true to my word regarding the guitar lessons.

I just hope the RAF types on here don't get all pedantic over the amount of gleam...

great idea, set up a paypal account for it.
that's one of the things i like about liam hearn, hes one of us,a working class lad whos from the rough parts of town, not at all like a lot of footballers who think they are  too important to talk to us etc etc.
i hope the lad  goes all the way to the top of the game.

I don't want him to leave so i hope it's with us. UTM
