As the clock is ticking and the tickets selling for the NYD clash, I can't help but remember previous times when bumper gates have left us with a flat and nervous energy from the fans.
The reason? The hardcore that know the chants, the songs have been diluted by the bumper crowd. I'm glad they are there, however, I feel they need an education!
So, what chants/ songs do we sing?

I've known it happen with clubs who have come before - sure it was in our relegation season to the BSP - was it Bath? They even included the counter chants we might sing back so they would be able to retort quicker! ...and indeed they did.  |

Loadsa people who don't sing that i know in the ponny would sing it but the current 1 that someone had the misfortune to make up sounds so embarressing and immature whereas the latter is pretty intimidating, all in my opinion of course lol So, especially for 1MickeyLyons who knows a decent chant or 2, altogether now............

It's nothing against anyone who sings it, it does get a lot of fans singing it but everytime we hear it it just makes us cringe and i can only imagine away fans laugh at it when they hear it m8.

The first chorus is meant to be sung as if you were drunk, swaying side to side, arm around the person next to you. With the odd one or two with loud voices singing out of sinc. If it's going well and loads are joining in, then it can be carried on for a second verse before letting rip.
The comedy in doing that brought more people into it and it was a laugh as well.
