Just wondering how he is getting on at Hull and if when he would be a possible loan signing for us seeing as theyve done us proud with Whittle,Devitt and Townsend (shame Featherstone was crap) anyone heard anything?

Still there and doing alright but not settin the world on fire and I suspect he'll develop a billy big balderdash attitude which will hinder his career...

i am very close to some of his grimsby mates and last thing i heard was that he was on his 3rd and final chance at Hull.

He said he was persuaded to go to Hull(which were a premier league club at the time) and he regretted his decision and would've preferred to work his way through the Grimsby ranks.

I heard he was offered alot of money at Hull and was very glad to sign at the time. He may regret it but no doubt his bank balance doesnt

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

I suspect he would have gone the same way as our other starlet, Freddie cass. Masses of talent and huge potential but a urine poor attitude and some arrogance that copulated the career they could have had...

My mate coached him at 12 and said he was aggressive strong and a good finisher but his downfall was his head and how he would conduct himself in his later teens. Fact is a great 14 yr old can become a average 17yr old

Didn't see that alleged arrogance in him. He was a member of the travel club. Not a problem. Always found him polite

Always found young Jack a decent lad not arrogant or big headed. I heard that he does not get on with his new youth coach n that is becoming a problem. But ability wise he's holding his own! So a clash of personalities at the moment n usually the coaching staff win. Maybe Watkiss will sort it or maybe we will get him back?

His attitude and character seem to be in marked contract to Bennett's. You can see who will go furthest in the game.

Another issue im told his basically hes got a one yr pro deal at the end of the two yrs yt the other lads havent so already bad feeling as crept in and yes id heard the coaches werent keen.  Regarding going to hull i dont think he was bullied into it ,hull offered a few things and his parents accepted no bullying went on and gtfc basically offered to drive him there, all of that comes from lads who know him but how true?

I had dealings with Freddie Cass and can tell you what a waste of talent, he should have made it in Proffessional football
Tragic waste of talent, I hope Barlow does not go down the same road.
Also you are right about the attitude, dead important vital part of every footballer.
