No I don't believe it Les. On the day I commented how poor the home attendance looked. I was amazed they reckoned 3,789. I would have said about 2800. Over egged by at least 1,000. Don't know what they and others gain by inflating figures, as they pay tax I presume n more to the FA?


But the Co-Op stand home end John was pretty full and considering they had over half off that stand i would predict that 3,789 was a true reflection having seen plenty of images of that stand !

Maybe, just deceptive with the stand behind the left hand side from where we sat being only half full n the little seated area to our right being nearly empty. But yeah with the SW n Coop being full they may have been right. Don't forget town fans were also in some of the home stands.

Thats what take the gloss of their high attendance is the fact 100-200 may well have being Town
