10 nil...everyone will score one goal except wood.

On a serious note, i fancy us to win 2-0. Eliding will score to stopthe whingers already looking for their scapegoat after 1 flipping game and on the way home we'll wonder what all the negativity surrounding yesterday's result was for...

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Braintree surprised me yesterday by how good they were. They did win their league last year conceding only 33 goals  so even if they lack BSP class they are at the very least organised and hard to break down. I reckon they will fancy their chances at home and this is a big banana skin for Grimsby.

I felt this tbh. Was surprised to see 1-0 thought it'd be a bigger win than that but just goes to show you shouldn't shrug off ANY team.

I think 0-0 or 1-1

You must be very proud

Prediction by the way for Braintree is 2:1 Town (Hearn and McKeown last minute header!!!)

With the kick he's got on him, I expect McKeown to get one this season.

2-1.

Potential banana skin i think.

Won their league last year and don't give many goals away.Playing at home for the first time against one of the big boys in the league. They'll fight like hell and i would take a draw right now.

When i saw the fixtures,i thought that we had a really tough start and it's conceivable we could be bottom of the league with no points come Saturday night.Newport away is another tough game.Got no confidence in this team at all after the Fleetwood game.

No razor blades needed here mate.I long ago gave up caring about results and just go now out of blind loyalty, hoping to see that spark that winning sides have. Not seen it for many a year now and some of the predictions on this thread make me chuckle. They will be no pushovers for sure, neither will Newport.

I would be absolutely delighted to be proven wrong but many false dawns have knocked the stuffing out of me completely.

Think i'll just sit back and see how things develop.

1 - 0 Braintree, On the POM I had Town to win 4 - 0 (before Fleetwood) but after Saturdays starting line up, nah!. If there are a few changes then maybe a win will come our way but not with that team from Saturday. Obviously Silk is out, the midfield needs change as do the CB positions. Up front stick with Elding & Hearn.

deserved 2-0 win to braintree, after which gtfc can proudly claim another all time low, being bottom of the bsp and having been outplayed by the mighty braintree and the even mightier fleetwood.

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I think we'll scrape a 1-1 (Coulson to net late equaliser) 301 moderate Mariners to attend!

braintree arnt a bad team tbh i went to a few of there games last season when i moved to essex Sean Marks is the one to look out for very good on the ball and has a great eye for goal. there defence last season was sloppy at times but very solid. it will be a tough game i think we will just nick 1-0 disley to get the goal!
